In a February interview, Paula Broadwell said she admired David Petraeus, but was not in love with him.

“I’m not in love with David Petraeus. But I think he does present a terrific role model for young people, for executives, for men and women, no matter what.”

FBI agent who began probing disgraced spy chief allegedly sent shirtless photos of himself to whistleblower

Broadwell dropped hints about how much time she had spent with the disgraced CIA chief and potentially how their professional and personal relationship unfolded while he was Commander of U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

“We sometimes ran and interviewed, which was a lot of fun…and our rapport increased,” she said.

Broadwell also said that Petraeus’ betrayed wife Holly had read her biography and “had great things to say.”
