Ryan Thompson asked his girlfriend to read a list of emergency procedures after the ride got a bit bumpy.

Thompson gives his visibly shaken girlfriend a sheet of paper containing emergency procedures and asks her to read it aloud.

“The checklist is complete … and it says the rings may be engaged … and to initiate the ring engagement procedure,” his girlfriend reads.

“Will you marry me?” she continues, taking several seconds to realize that the plane wasn’t actually about to go down.

Luckily for Thompson, his girlfriend was impressed by the stunt and accepted the “In Descent Proposal.”
