Romney Campaign Claims Embassy Attacks Would Not Have Happened If Romney Were President

Mitt Romney must believe that he, as president, would be able to control actions of everyone all over the world, for his team is claiming that we wouldn’t be seeing these kinds of demonstrations were he in the White House.

“There’s a pretty compelling story that if you had a President Romney, you’d be in a different situation,” Richard Williamson, a top Romney foreign policy adviser, said in an interview. “For the first time since Jimmy Carter, we’ve had an American ambassador assassinated.”

Williamson added, “In Egypt and Libya and Yemen, again demonstrations — the respect for America has gone down, there’s not a sense of American resolve and we can’t even protect sovereign American property.”

Keep that in mind in case there is a Romney presidency (even though that is increasingly unlikely). Heaven forbid there is a tragedy somewhere in the world where an American is killed. Will Romney take responsibility?
