Family Research Council Shooter Shouted Political Statements

Floyd Corkins, II, the man identified as the gunman accused of shooting a guard at the Family Research Council, carried a Chick-fil-A bag and didn’t like the FRC’s policies.

The man had been a volunteer at a local center for gays, lesbians, bisexual and transgender people, CBS News reported Wednesday night…

The reports of the gunmen’s comments were not confirmed by law enforcement officials, but the FBI took the lead on the case last night, as they would be expected to do in cases where there are political motivations and potential “domestic terrorism” events.
