Fireworks Banned In Large Part Of U.S. This Fourth Of July

Drought and wildfires mean less fireworks.

From Utah to Indiana, state and local governments were calling off annual fireworks displays over concerns that a stray rocket could ignite tinder-dry brush and trigger a wildfire.

Residents were also warned not to hold private firework displays or even use sparklers.
