Mitch McConnell: Obama “Europeanizing America;” Democrats “Live Every Day To Raise Taxes”

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is continuing to try to paint President Obama as more European than American.

“We need to start over. It was a huge, huge mistake, the single biggest step in the direction of Europeanizing America,” said McConnell on CBS’s “This Morning.”

With health care, McConnell says, we should “start over.”

“I’m ready for a grand bargain,” the Kentucky Republican said. “I’m ready to sit down with this president or the next president, have the same discussion we had last year and reach a conclusion. I understand full well that our friends on the other side live every day to raise taxes. I know that. I know it’s important to them.”
