Computer Will Read Emotions To Let Politicians Know If They’re Loved Or Hated

This might replace opinion polls.

The system, developed at the labs at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s can read people’s expressions even better than human can, and could potentially be used to scan large crowds to judge emotions.

The implications of the software, are widespread – political analysts could use it to judge people’s reactions to speeches, or the audience at a rock concert could give away, by their expressions, their favourite or worst bits of the gigs.
