Chinese Company Puts Out Helen Keller Sunglasses

Helen Keller is revered in China for overcoming her disabilities, and for being a socialist.

An advert for the brand shows a beautiful brunette stepping from an airplane to a waiting crowd of paparazzi. Only when she dons her Helen Keller sunglasses do the cameras start to click. The firm’s motto: “You see the world, the world sees you”

Chen Wenjing, a spokesperson for the company behind the sunglasses, said that they were aware Helen Keller was blind, but what they valued was her philanthropist spirit which spread optimism around the world.
