Arizona Lawmakers Receive “Gift” Of Knitted Uteruses

This is how women are reacting to being told they must tell their bosses if they use birth control to prevent pregnancies.

Peggy Tinsley delivered the craft uteruses as part of a national knitting project that aims to take a stand against government regulation of women’s bodies, including restrictions to contraception healthcare coverage…

The Arizona uteruses were individually packaged in plastic baggies and labeled with lawmakers names. They were knitted in mostly pink colors, and decorated with eyes and bows.
