Here’s what passes for opposition to the president:

Playing on the word renege, which means to go back on a promise, undertaking, or contract, according to Merriam-Webster, the ever-hateful anti-Obama masses seem to have come up with yet another way to disparage not only the President, but also African Americans.

Circulating on Facebook, a picture of a bumper sticker, reading, “Don’t Re-Nig In 2012,” (pictured left) is making feverish rounds. While Obama’s iconic red, blue, and white logo is crossed out, the bumper sticker makes it very clear that Obama opposers are going above and beyond the idea of just being against Obama politically.

According to Technorati, this slogan originally appeared on a T-shirt on a website called “Zazzle.com” back in 2010. The website sells customizable T-shirts, mugs, and other paraphernalia. The author of the slogan, reportedly called “XUBERALLES,” took his name from the Nazi slogan “Deutschland Uber Alles” or “Germany Over All” — so you already see where this is going. Back then, there was a backlash to the shirts and the subsequent Facebook page that cropped up last year.
