Reuters/Ipsos Poll Has Obama At 50%

The newest poll reflecting the president’s popularity with voters has him up 2 points over last month. An earlier poll out this week was heralded by his opponents.

Recent New York Times/CBS and Washington Post/ABC polls showed the president slipping — in one poll, rather dramatically — among voters, but the polls were criticized over the inclusion of a larger-than-typical sample of Republicans. On the other hand, conservatives are noting the Reuters poll has a sample that includes 51 percent Democrats — way above the typical electoral composition.
