Mother Leaves Cerebral Palsy Son At Gas Station For Not Saying “Yes, Ma’am”

Maranda Deett Ross is being charged with neglect.

Authorities say Ross was angry that her son did not answer ‘Yes, ma’am’ when she asked him if he was hungry.

Ross then pulled in to a Boiling Springs convenience store parking lot and told her son he could walk the five miles home.

The victim’s father told police his son has difficulty walking and maintaining balance.
