Santorum: Gingrich Blew His Chance

Rick Santorum says it’s over for Newt Gingrich.

“Newt Gingrich had his chance, had a shot,” said Santorum, the former senator for Pennsylvania, on CNN soon after his distant third place finish was announced.

“He had a big boost, a big win out of South Carolina and couldn’t hold it. He couldn’t deliver Florida. I think they [voters] will be looking for a different conservative as an alternative to Mitt Romney now.”
