Mayor Asked What He’ll Do In Wake Of Latino Civil Rights Violations: “I Might Have Tacos” (UPDATED)

East Haven Mayor Joseph Maturo was asked by WPIX-TV what his plans were for the Latino community after four police officers were charged with violating the civil rights of Latino residents. His answer: “I might have tacos when I go home.” It’s hard to believe this isn’t a comedy sketch.

UPDATE: Maturo has apologized.
