Donny Eugene Mower pled guilty back in October to firebombing a Planned Parenthood clinic and vandalizing a mosque. He faced a minimum mandatory sentence of five years, with the possibility for serving as many as twenty years. He was just sentenced this month to the minimum five years, with three years supervised release, as well having to pay $26,000 in restitution.

Prior to throwing a Molotov cocktail through the window of the Planned Parenthood in Madera, CA, Mower placed a sign in front of the clinic that said ‘“Murdering children? That is your choice? Reap your reward. ANB.”  The irony behind committing an act of violence because you’re “pro-life” seems to escape Mr.Mower, but his actions regarding the mosque are even better.

In his plea agreement, Mower admits to putting a sign in front of the Islamic center in Madera that read, “No temple for the god of terrorism at ground zero. ANB,” referring to the Park51 Islamic center in downtown Manhattan. He then proceeded to vandalize the building. Now, terrorism is defined as “the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims,” which is exactly what Mower did here, and he did it because he claims to be against terrorism. It’s literally impossible to argue with deranged reasoning like that.

Questions for conservatives: If Mower’s name was Abdullah Abdullah and he had vandalized a church, how many years would you want him to go to prison for? And do you consider him a terrorist, or can only Muslims be terrorists?
