Tea Party Mess: Can’t O’Donnell And Palin Co-Exist At The Same Event?

The Iowa tea party  is playing two-card monte with Sarah Palin and Christine O’Donnell, seemingly unable to convince Palin to appear at a Saturday event if Christine O’Donnell is there.

Tea Party of America President Ken Crow told NBC News, “I had to cancel Ms. O’Donnell” after a conversation with Sarah Palin aides — and is now hopeful Palin will attend the Saturday rally in Indianola.

He was told by Palin’s team that he’d have a final answer shortly.

This comes after failed Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell was in, then out, then back in, and now indefinitely out. And Palin was in, then “on hold.”

Crow seems to be hoping that Palin will attend, but for some strange reason can’t make room for both Palin and O’Donnell on the same ticket. Now that O’Donnell is out, it seems to clear the way for Palin to be in, and Crow has no doubts about Palin.

Crow was confident that Palin would attend on Saturday stressing that she “is a lady of her word and impeccably honest.”
