Sarah Palin: If Tea Partiers Were Terrorists Obama Would Pal Around With Us

Continuing the right-wing meme of the week that liberals believe tea partiers are terrorists, Sarah Palin brought back one of her golden oldies: the suggestion that Obama pals around with terrorists because he once went to Bill Ayers’ house.

“If we were really domestic terrorists, President Obama would want to be palling around with us.” She cited his relationship to Bill Ayers, “shaking hands with [Hugo] Chavez, wanting to read U.S. Miranda rights to alleged suspected foreign terrorists,” as evidence that he doesn’t mind terrorists all that much– “if we were real domestic terrorists, I don’t think President Obama would have a problem with us.”

So let me get this straight: It’s despicable that Joe Biden would call tea partiers to terrorists (which he didn’t do), but it’s laudable for Sarah Palin to talk about how much Barack Obama loves terrorists.
