White House In Lockdown After Homeless Man Tries To Jump Fence

A man jumped over the North Lawn fence Tuesday evening.

Two Secret Service agents cautiously approached the dark-skinned man…their rifles pointed at him as he lay face down on the lawn, AFP reported. He was swiftly arrested.

Several police vehicles were parked outside the White House gates with their lights flashing, and security personnel could be seen patrolling the compound, including two with body armor and automatic weapons.

The Secret Service identified the man as 41-year-old James Dirk Crudup, who they say is homeless.
