Liberty Counsel Wants You To Pray For Me And Other Liberals

Hrafnkell at PoliticusUSA writes about Liberty Counsel’s “Adopt a Liberal™” program. You pick a liberal from their list, and then:

Pray earnestly and intensely for them! Pray that the Lord would move upon them and cause them to be the kind of leaders who will encourage others to lead “a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

I jokingly told Liberty Counsel’s Mat Staver I’d feel left out if I wasn’t on the list, and he then very seriously included me. But you can also choose New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg, Rachel Maddow, Keith Olbermann, Barney Frank, and even Arnold Schwarzenegger. If none of these suit your fancy, you can choose the “unknown liberal” and pray for the lefty of your choice. And don’t give up!

Please pray daily for the liberal(s) of your choice, so each can become a good influence on our Nation’s culture. Prayer is powerful! It allows God to change the minds of those for whom we are praying. In fact, we fully expect that many of our adoptees will “graduate” from this prayer program with vivid testimonies of God having changed their lives and worldviews!
