Trump Wants Us To Buy Less “Crap” From China; Like His Clothing Line?

While bashing China and telling Americans he’d put a 25% tariff on good from there, Donald Trump hasn’t mentioned that his clothing line is made there. He did tell Fox News’s Neil Cavuto last year that products made there are “crap.”

TRUMP: I have to tell you, I did, because you know what? They [America] actually make a much better product. I mean, the product is 100 percent better. The product, the stuff that’s been sent over from China is — it falls apart after a year and a half. It’s crap.

Trump has, many times, urged Americans not to buy Chinese-made products.

Trump also told CNN last year: “When it comes to manufacturing, China is making all of these products. And they could be made in North Carolina, they could be made in Alabama, they could be made in lots of our places. And right now they’re not. Personally, I’d tax China very, very heavily. “

Trump’s line, pictured, says “Made in China.”  But he spreads the wealth. Other items are made in Mexico and Bangladesh.
