As Seen in the Bookstore…

“God be with you as you stand!” is the last line of Kevin McCollough’s new book – No He Can’t: How Barack Obama is Dismantling Hope and Change.

Oh, Mr. McCollough is a man of God. Who would have thunk a cocky conservative hate-spewer could actually be a Christian? But as a Christian, I’m sure he practices love and forgiveness as his BFF Jesus said to. Let’s look up some of his quotes on the Internet, shall we?

“Likewise, a man who seeks his perverse kicks by depositing the seed of life in, shall we say, non-life-giving cavities, may know orgasm, but never complete union, as he uses anatomy in ways for which the Creator did not create it.”

Or try this one on for size, “Radical homosexual activists hate marriage because fundamentally they hate God, and the guilt of both drives them to extremes.”

Although the cover of Mr. McCollough’s book seems quite serious, and although he obviously knows a few S.A.T. words, I don’t think we should be turning to him for political or spiritual revelations.

Kevin, I have a bit of advice for you and Christians of your kind. If you truly want to be people of God, stop pointing fingers and go out and feed the poor. Make your life mean something to someone other than the hypocritical, ultra right-wing politicians you idolize.
