Obama Heard On Open Mic Daring GOP To Challenge Him On Health Care

It’s not as funny as Ronald Reagan’s “We begin bombing in five minutes,” but it’s equally amusing. President Obama was heard on a live mic discussing Republican attempts to repeal health care reform, asking, “You think we’re stupid?” (h/t Mediaite)

“you want to repeal health care? Go at it. We’ll have that debate. You’re not going to be able to do that by nickel-and-diming me in the budget. You think we’re stupid?”

CBS News aired the audio on the Early Show Friday, including remarks made by the President warning Republicans not to “try and sneak though” a repeal of health care. “We’re happy to have the debate…and if you think you can overturn my veto, try it.”
