Michele Bachmann Can’t Answer If Homosexuality Is A Public Health Hazard

Michele Bachmann appeared in Iowa in front of an anti-gay group called the FAMiLY Leader. The group has compared homosexuality to second-hand smoke as a pubic health hazard.  Igor Volsky of Think Progress was there and asked the Minnesota congresswoman if she agreed with that stance, which was also echoed by group head Bob Vander Plaats.

VOLSKY: Congresswoman, some groups — including this one, I believe — have argued that homosexuality is a public health crisis akin to second-hand smoking. I was wondering if you agreed with that.

BACHMANN: Um. I — I don’t have an answer on that. I don’t have an answer. Why don’t I have another question.
