Delaware’s losing candidate for U.S. Senate, Christine O’Donnell, has a book coming out that was originally slated as a memoir but is
now being billed as a primer for conservatives that will “give voice to the quiet anger in America today: where it comes from, what it’s asking for, and where it’s going from here.” Shouldn’t a primer come from someone who actually won? As for “where it’s going,” it is certainly not going in the direction of tea party candidates.
With a first printing of 150,000, St. Martin’s Press has high hopes for its success. And one wonders if her “TV, radio, and print publicity” will be confined to friendly venues. I wonder why the book is called Trouble Maker, unless she is writing about the trouble she did make–for herself.
