They call the president “A Traitor and a War Criminal.” They call him a Kenyan, anti-colonial and a Mau Mau.

Mostly, though, they call him the social-satanist “c-word”: Communist, as they did in the European Union Times:

In what is being described as one of the most astounding power grabs in modern history by newspaper headlines around the World, President Obama has succeeded in his audacious plan to remake America into a full fledged godless communist empire barely one year into his term with the enactment into law by the US Congress of his mammoth health care plan…

That was months ago. But it’s been going on for years.

Bill Maher is asked if he regrets calling Michele Bachmann a bimbo and Sarah Palin the “c-word” and “dumb twat.” His response:

“. . as I’ve said many times in these kind of situations, if I hurt somebody’s feelings, I’m always sorry about that, I’m not trying to hurt somebody’s feelings. But if you want me to say I’m sorry what I said was wrong, no, sorry, I can’t go there.”

C’mon, now, is that fair?

Both sides seem to be saying the worst thing they can think of to denigrate the opposition. Maybe that’s as fair as politics gets.
