Disgraced Tea Party Leader Calls For Right-Wingers To Falsely Pose As SEIU Members

Mark Williams was kicked out of the tea party movement for racist remarks, including a satirical letter from “the Colored People” to Abraham Lincoln praising slavery. Now, Williams is calling on right-wing activists to pose as SEIU members to make them look bad.

Williams lays out a highly dishonest and fairly involved scheme to have “plants” sign up on the SEIU website to be organizers for an upcoming rally, dress up in SEIU shirts, and to then make outrageous comments to reporters covering the events in order to “make the gathering look as greedy and goonish as we know that it is.”

Williams’s page has suddenly disappeared, but here is link to a cache of the page. You might notice the commenters aren’t too complimentary of Mr. Williams. Crooks and Liars has a screen shot of Williams’s fundraising effort (pictured), and also notes:

You might remember when he went on TV and said this: Teabagger Mark Williams says: ‘Obama is an Indonesian Muslim turned welfare thug and a racist in chief’ and tries to defend it!

Even if that fails he’ll still try to go all August Town Hall on the events. Too bad, the people trying to protect their collective bargaining rights deserve better, but they must know to expect more of this. As for Williams, once a creep, twice a creep, three times a creep—always a creep.
