Elvis Is In The Building

If you looked up at a television screen as I did at one point today and saw William Jefferson Clinton standing in the White House briefing room, you might have thought for a second that time stood still. Clinton announced that he backed the tax deal with Congress, but wished the tax cuts for the rich had been overturned, even though that wouldn’t have benefited him, personally. One remarkable moment was when President Obama left, saying he was “keeping the First Lady waiting.”  Clinton was standing at the podium as Obama left the room, promising he was leaving everyone “in good hands.”
