CNN: Bin Laden Hiding Comfortably In Pakistan

CNN is reporting that Osama bin Laden and his deputy Ayman al-Zawahiri are living in separate  safe houses near each other  in northwest Pakistan, according to a senior NATO official said. The are allegedly being protected by Pakistani intelligence services, which denies this.

The official said the general region where bin Laden is likely to have moved around in recent years ranges from the mountainous Chitral area in the far northwest near the Chinese border, to the Kurram Valley which neighbors Afghanistan’s Tora Bora, one of the Taliban strongholds during the U.S. invasion in 2001.

Bin Laden and al-zawahiri are reported to be living in relative comfort.  Similar reports have been proven false in the past.
