WV GOP Congressional Candidate Appeals To Anti-Arab Sentiment

Spike Maynard, a one-time Democratic judge who switched parties and is running against West Virginia Congressman Nick Rahall, is using Rahall’s work with Arab-Americans to smear him. Rahall’s efforts on behalf of Barack Obama in 2008 with Arab-Americans is the centerpiece of a Maynard ad clearly intended to appeal to bigots. (h/t Think Progress)
