Boehner: Americans Aren’t Ready For Solutions Yet

Would-be House Speaker John Boehner doesn’t believe American are yet ready for solutions because we don’t understand the size of the problem. That’s his excuse for the lack of them in the “Pledge to America,” as he tried to explain to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, when Wallace pointed out there “was not one single proposal to cut Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid.”

Boehner responded, “…we can’t have that serious conversation until we lay out the size of the problem. Once Americans understand how big the problem is, then we can begin to talk about potential solutions…”
