Delaware’s new GOP candidate for U.S. Senate, Christine O’Donnell, has a long trail of comments and expressed beliefs in years worth of interviews that are coming back to haunt her.  When she was repping Concerned Women for America, she appeared on CNN to proclaim evolution a fraud and the Biblical view that God created the earth in one week a fact (h/t Think Progress).

CHRISTINE O’DONNELL: Well, creationism, in essence, is believing that the world began as the Bible in Genesis says, that God created the Earth in six days, six 24-hour periods. And there is just as much, if not more, evidence supporting that.

O’Donnell should be questioned about whether she believes in the literal interpretation of the Bible. Does she believe, for example, that adulterers should be stoned to death? Should we not mix natural and unnatural fibers?  Did Noah actually take animals, two-by-two, into an ark?
