Will The Russian President Embrace American Fast Food?

President Obama and Russian President Dmitri Medvedev hopped over to Ray’s Hell Burger in Arlington, VA, where they shared some fries.

Obama “went traditional” in his order, getting a cheddar-cheeseburger with onions, lettuce, tomato and bread-and-butter pickles, while Medvedev “went spicy,” with a cheddar-cheeseburger with onions, jalapenos and mushrooms, the pool says. Obama drank iced tea, and Medvedev had a Coke.

Medvedev praised the taste, if not the nutrition.

In his opening statement, Medvedev — speaking with an interpreter — lauds the cheeseburger lunch he and Obama shared: “It’s not quite healthy, but it’s very tasty.”
