Conservatives Mock Pelosi For Airbrushed Photo; Give Laura Bush A Pass

Besides its apparent sexism, attacking Nancy Pelosi for her appearance is also hypocritical when Laura Bush is ignored for the same “offense.” (h/t Think Progress)  Nancy Pelosi’s picture on the cover of Capitol File is being mocked by the Washington Examiner, which points out that she is “looking rather…airy”  (as in air brushed), and by Drudge, who had the headline linked to the Examiner story, “Nancy, is that you?” Ironically, next to that story was an ad for Laura Bush’s new book, which had the first lady looking nicely airbrushed.
