Right-Wing Immigration Group Wants Lindsey Graham To Admit He’s Gay

Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee, upset with South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham’s call for a “fair path forward” for illegal immigrants, is demanding that Graham “come out of that log cabin closet.”

William Gheen, head of ALIPAC, referenced a three year old speech Graham made to the National Council of La Raza during which he noted that to many immigrants America is an idea and “no group owns being an American.” When Gheen repeated this someone in the crowd hollered “neuter Lindsey Graham.”

Gheen told a tea party crowd in Greenville, SC:

“Sometimes I wonder what it would take to make a person sell their country out like that.  There’s one thing that it could be, that I’m going to put out in the open here today. It’s a secret Lindsey Graham has…I hope this secret it isn’t being used as leverage over Senator Graham, so today I think Senator Graham, you need to come forward and tell people about your alternative lifestyle and your homosexuality.”

How nice that Gheen is so concerned about Senator Graham’s well-being that he doesn’t want his “secret” used against him.  So concerned, that a youtube video put out by Gheen and his group called “US Senator Lindsey Graham is Gay” was tagged with some not-so-nice words. It appears, though as if the title of the video and the tag words have been cleaned.
