President Calls Limbaugh And Beck “Troublesome”

It would be preferable if President Obama didn’t single out individual talk show hosts. It feeds them. He should be above it. But talking to CBS’s Harry Smith, the president pointed fingers. It only gives the hosts, both of whom have big megaphones, days of material to strike back.

Smith: Are you aware of the level of enmity that crosses the airwaves and that people have made part of their daily conversation about you?

Obama: Well, I think that when you listen to Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck

Smith: It’s beyond that…

Obama: …it’s pretty apparent and it’s troublesome…
