Utah House GOP Leader Admits to Nude Dip with Teen, then Paying $150k in Hush Money
The political sex scandals keep on coming. This time we’re back to the Republican side of the aisle in the mostly conservative state of Utah. According to ABC News, Utah’s House Majority Leader Kevin Garn admitted to skinny dipping with a teen woman, Cheryl Maher, when he was 28 years of age. Ms Maher was 15 at the time. Although Garn claims no physical contact took place, he paid Maher $150,000 to keep quiet about the incident, which has resurfaced after Garn learned Maher was trying to revive the story in various news outlets.
