Senate Minority Leader McConnell Doesn’t Like GOP Fear Pitch

Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell, the top Republican in the Senate, says he doesn’t like that the GOP is using fear and negative feelings about President Obama as part of its outreach.

The pitch last month to Republican fundraisers included a direct call to exploit “extreme negative feelings” toward Democrats. In the presentation, Obama was depicted as “The Joker” and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as Cruella De Vil.

McConnell tells ABC’s “This Week” that it’s up to the Republican National Committee to hold someone responsible for the controversial appeal. He says, “I don’t like it and I don’t know anybody who does.”
