Sarah Palin Uses Daughter To Attack “Family Guy” For Referencing Son

Sarah Palin continues to play the victim, this time lashing out at the FOX show “Family Guy,” referring to them as “cold-hearted people who would do such a thing.”  And she again continued to attack Rahm Emanuel for the same offense committed by Rush Limbaugh, to whom she continues to give a pass.

But “Family Guy,” where the stock-in-trade is mockery, regardless of how politically correct (Don’t conservatives rail against political correctness?), made only a vague reference to a girl whose mother is “the former governor of Alaska” and, if the scene is seen correctly, shows the Down syndrome daughter (Palin’s special needs child is a son) standing up for herself, putting her in a positive light. Soak in the irony, as Palin uses her daughter Bristol on her Facebook page to do her bidding for her in responding to “Family Guy.”

People are asking me to comment on yesterday’s Fox show that felt like another kick in the gut. Bristol was one who asked what I thought of the show that mocked her baby brother, Trig (and/or others with special needs), in an episode yesterday. Instead of answering, I asked her what she thought.

Palin hasn’t hesitated to use her children to argue against democratic health care reform and to falsely promote “death panels”as she did on her Facebook page in August:

And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

Once again, on Bill O’Reilly’s show, Palin used her one of her children as her first line of defense to criticize the “Family Guy” episode.  And just like in her book and in her Nashville tea party speech, she continues to play the victim.
