McCain Challenger J.D. Hayworth In Camp Birther

Former Arizona Congressman J.D. Hayworth, who is challenging John McCain for his Senate seat from the right side, is continuing the birther craziness, telling Chris Matthews President Obama should produce his birth certificate. Asked by Matthews if he’s “as far right as the birthers,” Hayworth responded, “Well, gosh, we all had to bring our birth certificates to show we were who we said we were, and we were the age we said we were, to play football in youth sports.” Let in the segment the Senate hopeful added, “I’m just saying the president should come forward with the information, that’s all. Why must we depend on the governor of Hawaii?”
