US Not The Only Country With Racist RWNJ’s: Meet Nick Griffin

Nick Griffin is chairman of the British National Party and a member of the European Parliament who was given a suspended sentence after being convicted in 1998 for distributing material likely to incite racial hatred.  Griffin has softened his rhetoric of years past, and just appeared on a BBC program where he downplayed previous statements denying the Holocaust.

One in five in Britain would consider backing this party according to a poll conducted after a Griffin media appearance on the BBC, even though Griffin complained the show was like “a lynch mob.”

More than half of those surveyed agreed with the BNP or thought the party “had a point” in wishing to “speak up for the interests of the indigenous, white British people… which successive governments have done far too little to protect”.

This included 43% who said that they had no sympathy for the BNP itself, though they shared some of its concerns.

So, who is Nick Griffin, and what does he really believe? For one thing, he’s not pleased that “the power powerful job in the world went to a black man.”
