Jimmy Carter: Wilson Outburst “Based On Racism”

Former President Carter believes that Congressman Joe Wilson harbors “an inherent feeling” that some in this country hold that a black man should not be president.

Carter called Wilson’s comment “dastardly” and said the president should be treated with respect.
