Ex Bush Staffer To James Dobson: Bush Was “The Instrument In God’s Hand”

Tim Goeglein, who was a special assistant to Bush 43, appeared on James Dobson’s radio show to wax poetic about his former boss. Goeglein believes Bush was doing God’s work. (h/t Think Progress)

-“George W. Bush kept us safe. Providence kept us safe. But George Bush was the instrument in God’s hand as the leader of the free world.”

– “Of course, this was the great blessing of our first president, George Washington – the original George W. … The greatest trait of Washington was to see things as they were and not as he wanted to see them. That was George W. Bush’s gift when it came to this war.

Goeglein also says it’s not possible to be pro-choice and President of the United States.

As Right Wing Watch notes, Goeglein resigned from the White House after admitting that he often commited plagerism, which only made him love Bush more because of how forgiving he is.  Sad that his heart is breaking because Obama is undoing so much of of his predecessor’s good works.  But how is it that one president has the hand of God on his shoulder and another doesn’t?
