Is That A Budget In Your Hand Or Are You Unhappy To See Me?

Republican House leader John Boehner held up a document last week to claim that President Obama was wrong when he claimed the GOP had no budget.  Waving the packet, Boehner exalted, “Here it is, Mr. President!”  Well, it turns out what Boehner was brandishing wasn’t a budget at all, but rather a document called “The Republican Road To Recovery.”

Paul Ryan, a Republican congressman from Wisconsin now says, ‘Somewhere along the line there was a misimpression given that that was our budget.” 

“Somewhere along the line”?  Here’s where:
