Drum Major Suspended For Acknowledging President

Drum Major John Coleman of the Cleveland Firefighters’ Memorial Pipes and Drums offered a quick nod and a wave while marching past the president, without breaking his stride.  Bandleader Pipe Major Mike Engle says protocol was breached and that other bands complained.  Now Coleman has a six month suspension.
