Rick Warren Says Gays Should Reign In Their Natural Impulses: “It’s Part Of Character”

While I applaud Barack Obama for his inclusiveness by inviting Rick Warren to give the invocation at his inauguration,  it should not go without note that Warren’s views on homosexuality are archaic and insulting to gays.

Warren: Why should I reign in my natural impulses? And you say, well just  because I have natural impulses toward the same sex, I shouldn’t have to reign them in.  Well, I disagree.  I think that’s part of maturity; I think that’s part of delayed gratification; I think that’s part of character.
