Two Peace-Seeking Americans Dead In Mumbai
Alan Scherr and his 13-year-old daughter Naomi were with the Synchronicity Foundation, a group dedicated to meditation and spirituality. They were part of a 25-member delegation, four others of which were injured during the violence in India.
“Alan committed most of his adult life to meditation, spirituality and conscious living,” the foundation statement said. “He was committed to making a positive difference in the world.”
His daughter was remembered as “passionate, if not a little mischievous … a bright and lovely young woman.”
