Obama Defeats McCain in Feline Face-Off

A Bombay cat named Barack Obama (left, of course) battled a British shorthair cat named Renegade (right), representing John McCain.

The New York Daily News reports from the Cat Championship in New York:

A just-for-fun ballot pitting a cat named Barack Obama against a Republican proxy named Renegade gave the Obama cat a 2-to-1 victory.

“Of course, I’m in New York State. I knew this was how it was going to turn out,” Pam DelaBar, CEO of the Cat Fanciers’ Association, joked about the city’s Democratic voting edge.
