Proof That Joe Lieberman Needs To Declare He’s A Republican

Lieberman says we need to get beyond this economic mess so the public can compare the two presidential candidates free of crisis-mode.  But it’s Republicans who brought us to this point, and it’s John McCain who bungled it by parachuting into Washington for a deal that never materialize.  But Lieberman gives lip service to helping the country before expessing his real concern: that this is making people turn against Republicans.

“But frankly, it will be good for John McCain too. It will get people back to comparing the two candidates free of a sense of crisis that may make them want to turn against Republicans.”
