McCain: We Can Do For Health Care What We Did For The Economy

A published article by John McCain in Contingencies Magazine, a publication of the American Association of Actuaries (I wonder who the centerfold is this month), has him saying:


“Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in banking, would provide more choices of innovative products less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation.”

 

Paul Krugman picked up on this and reminds us that McCain has probably changed his position by now, anyway.
