“First Dude” Refuses To Testify In Abuse-Of-Power Investigation

That would be Todd Palin who has been subpoenaed in the ethics investigation concerning whether Alaska Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan was fired for refusing to fire Sarah Palin’s former brother-in-law.  The Palins first agreed to cooperate, but now claim the investigation is illegitimate.


Anchorage Democratic Senator Bill Sielechowski says uncooperative witnesses can refuse to testify for months without penalty, and that court action to force them to testify is unlikely.  The Palins’ goal, obviously, is to delay this until after the election.
